We are a group of ordinary people who are discovering that faith in God is a life-changing experience. Rooted in Hammersmith, we exist to serve God, each other, and our community.
Serving Hammersmith
Hammersmith Christian Fellowship is a Baptist church committed to serving the local community in West London. Our heart is to know Christ, love people, and serve our city.
We are a warm, diverse family of believers from across London and the world. We are led by Pastor Keith Berry, a deeply committed shepherd who has given many years of faithful service to this congregation.
We are a member church of the Old Baptist Union, a fellowship of evangelical Baptist churches committed to proclaiming the Word of God in its fullness. Our faith is grounded in Scripture, expressed in community, and demonstrated in service.

Serving West London
Our core beliefs
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God — our guide for all matters of faith, doctrine, and daily life.
Salvation by grace
We believe salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone — his death, burial, and resurrection — and not by human effort or merit.
Believer’s baptism
As a Baptist church, we practise baptism by full immersion as a public declaration of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
The local church
We believe the local church is God’s primary instrument for making disciples, caring for one another, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
Prayer
We are a praying church. We believe prayer is the lifeblood of the Christian life and the engine room of everything we do together.
Mission
We are called to share the gospel locally and globally — through words, deeds, and a community that reflects the character of Christ.
Part of the Old Baptist Union
We are a member of the Old Baptist Union, a fellowship of evangelical Baptist churches founded in 1880. Our pastor Keith Berry serves as its General Secretary. The Old Baptist Union exists to support local Baptist churches in their commitment to the Word of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
